Ford F-150 Lightning vs Chevy Silverado EV and Rivian R1T Near North Canton, OH
When you feel like a premium pasta dish, it may be hard to decide between Palombo's Italian Restaurant and Bravo! Italian Kitchen. When you're in the mood for a tender, juicy steak, Brown Derby Steakhouse and Lucia's are two of the many great choices. And when you're craving something sweet and decadent, you can head to Pav's Creamery or Johnnie's Bakery of Canton. It's great to have choices when it comes to culinary delights, but when you're looking for a new vehicle, too many choices can be overwhelming. Especially if you're in the market for an electric vehicle (EV). As more and more brands increase the number of EV models they manufacture, the harder it will be for consumers to choose which is best for their needs.

What's the Difference: Ford F-150 Lightning vs Chevy Silverado EV and Rivian R1T
To help our customers in the Hartville, Columbus, Akron, New Philadelphia, and Massillon areas, AutoNation Ford North Canton offers this quick comparison guide. We've chosen three of the hottest electric truck models from Ford, Chevrolet, and Rivian.Ford introduced the full-size fully electric F-150 Lightning pickup truck in 2022. Besides zero emissions thanks to a battery-powered electric powertrain, the Lightning has almost everything you'll find in America's best-selling pickup, its gas-powered F-150 sibling.
Ford offers four unique trims to choose from: F-150 Lightning Pro, XLT, LARIAT, and Platinum.
Ford's exclusive Pro Power Onboard gives you on-demand power for tools at the job site, conveniences at a campsite, or appliances and electronic devices at home.
The Chevy Silverado EV is the automaker's first brand-new addition to its EV lineup since the small, five-passenger Chevrolet Bolt hit showroom floors in 2016. Reminiscent of the since-discontinued Avalanche, the Silverado EV brings back the folding midgate that opens from the back of the cab to extend the truck bed's cargo storage space.
Scheduled to go on sale in the summer of 2023, the 2024 model year Chevy Silverado EV will offer three trims. From the practical and stripped-down Work Truck base model to an off-road-focused Trail Boss trim and a fully-loaded premium RST, the Chevy Silverado EV spans the price point spectrum.
A newcomer to the automotive industry, Rivian has pledged to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2040. The California-based start-up released its first-ever vehicles in 2022, the R1S SUV and the R1T pickup truck. Both are fully electric, of course.
The 2023 Rivian R1T has one model option, the Adventure trim, two powertrain options, and three different battery packs. With an interior designed with 100 percent animal-free materials plus a reinforced underbody shield made of high-strength steel, aluminum alloys, and a composite of carbon fiber composite, the R1T is a "purpose-built truck equipped to handle any adventure."
